HMA designed solutions - 40 Victoria Road, Barnsley, South Yorks. S70 2BU - 01226 209450

My most recent and most appropriate experience was as a Web Developer with HMA in Barnsley. I was intially
taken on as a placement student in August 2002. I was invited back on a part-time basis during my final
year at university where I continued working until June 2004.
Initially, my role was making fairly basic amendments to text and images on existing websites. However as
my skills developed, I was able to take on progressively more complicated development projects, that
included problem-solving, debugging and using ASP to interact with databases and create upload and automated
email functionality.
Towards the end of my employment, I took the opportunity to develop a new website for bonmarché
(a national womenswear retailer), which was completed to budget and on time, and was very well received by the
client.
I have been able to demonstrate a team-orientated attitude and a keenness to learn, which enables me to be
effective and reliable, throughout even the most challenging of projects.
Anglo Italian Optical - Unit 2 Limegrove Estate, Falconer Road, Haverhill, Suffolk. CB9 7XU - 01440 712777
Manager: Keith Choat
I have worked for AIO as an Order picker/packer during university vacation periods since June 2000.
The position involved picking and packing orders of optical lenses in a busy warehouse environment.
Other duties included stock monitoring and replenishment, and dealing with enquiries from clients and other
departments.
This helped me to develop strong teamwork and communication skills that have since helped me apply my skills
in subsequent jobs and university projects.
