bonmarché - 2004 - www.bonmarche.co.uk I completed this project under the employment of HMA. The site is database driven and demonstrates the use of HTML, ASP, JavaScript and implementation of accessibility guidelines from the W3C.
Some particularly notable features of this website are:
- The use of flash throughout the website to enable the quick changing of colour scheme.
- Javascript validated forms which post data to a database and send data and produce an automated email.
- Integration with multimap to facilitate the store locator functionality.
Nigel Griffiths Fine Oak Furniture - 2004 - www.fineoakfurniture.com This site was completed as part of a university project. It is database driven and includes a content management system where the home page text, products database and font style can be altered.
This site features:
- Javascript validated form which posts data to a database.
- Use of server-side components to generate thumbnail images ‘on-the-fly’ to facilitate the product catalogue and add copyright notice to photographs.
